I'm passionate about storytelling and a drive to make a difference in our world. I am very exhilarated to be starting my journey in the field of journalism where I hope to develop my skills in researching, writing and reporting on the story that matter the most. In my studies, I aim to gain a deeper understanding of the world around me and to learn how to share that understanding to others in a clear, brief and engaging way.
I am looking forward to exploring the many characteristics of journalism, from news reporting to feature writing and sharpening my skills in digital media and storytelling. I am eager to learn, grow and contributing to the world of journalism and I am excited to see where this journey takes me.
Below its a picture of me. I. spread joy wherever go, always wearing a perpetual smile, and also a shining example of kindness and warmth hence why my grandmother named me Sinentlahla.

Here we are at Toppieshoek the TUT adventure camp site, where we were doing different activities and getting to communicate with different kind of people, I learnt that having to have a communication skill is important and you have to know different kind of languages in my career. I had the best time here.

what an incredible experience it was to see and use the studio lab for the first time in my life, I knew by then that this is where I belong. I have learned a lot of things like getting to know how to use a mic and how to talk when you are on air ,ways to engage with my listeners and also how to talk calls.

As a journalist you have to be curious, and this is me making sure that i learn everything on a orientation week and also making sure that I have evidence so that people believe can me when I tell them. As a first year remember you know nothing, you also join classes that are not yours because you get lost. You even attend staff meeting thinking it's a class. I really enjoyed my time during orientation, and I even made friends. This is me at TV and Computer lab.

As a first-year student moving from where I come from and coming here was a big step for me.I have learnt to responsible and also having to do things on my own not having to depend on someone. At first everything was overwhelming and there was a time where I felt like giving up, but my family supported me through it all. Now I know for sure that there's is no giving up, I am doing this, and I will focus on my studies until the end. The goal is to pass all of my modules and gain more knowledge so that I can share with others. Where I come from where we take education very seriously and we believe in a say that our father, Mr Nelson Mandela said which goes like this "EDUCATION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT POWERFUL WEAPON WHICH WE CAN USE TO CHANGE THE WORLD". I have always wanted to pass and go to university and here I am chasing my dreams in Pretoria with no one to hold my hand so listen to me very carefully when I say here it's the survival of the fittest indeed. There are many temptations, but you have to know what you came here for.
WHAT A FASCINATING JOURNEY WE ARE EMBARKING ON! I AM THRILLED TO TAKE YOU THROUGH AS WE DELVE INTO THE JOURNEY OF SINENTLAHLA CEFU!
